The next-generation of VIDA application is planned to be released during 2015. When purchasing new equipment please also read Workshop System Requirements & Guidelines - VIDA in 2015 (Document Number 320en01).
Name of processors is frequently changed. This is examples of what to use.
Additional USBs can be needed for other equipment, such as mouse and keyboard.
Windows Update must be enabled and all available updates from Microsoft need to be installed.
The VIDA application is developed for a 1280 x 1024 resolution. When buying a new display 1280 x 800 is the best compromise. When a 1280 x 800 resolution is used, vertical scroll bars will be introduced. This will not greatly affect the functionality or usability of the VIDA application.
